Do fonts inside my SVG render correctly in the JPG?

Text inside your SVG references a font by name. If the font is embedded or converted to outlines it renders exactly; if it merely names a font the renderer does not have, a substitute is used and the spacing shifts. Convert text to paths in your editor before uploading if the JPG must match exactly.
Does transparency survive SVG to JPG?

It depends entirely on the target. PNG, WebP, TIFF and ICO keep the alpha channel, so an unfilled SVG background stays transparent in the JPG. JPG, JPEG and JFIF have no alpha at all and composite onto white instead.
Why is my JPG file so much larger than the SVG?

Where your SVG stores a logo as a few dozen path commands can be a couple of kilobytes; the same logo as a 2048px JPG is millions of pixels. That is normal and expected — vector stores instructions, raster stores every pixel.
Should I keep using SVG on the web instead of converting?

For logos, icons and flat illustration, yes — browsers render SVG natively and it stays crisp at every zoom level. Convert to JPG when you need a fixed raster for an email, a social preview, an older CMS, or any tool that will not accept vector input.
Can I rasterize many SVG files to JPG at once?

Several files in one job need a paid plan. Free use is one file per conversion, one conversion an hour. On a paid plan you can add several files to one job, then download each result on its own or all of them in one ZIP.
What happens to layers and groups in the SVG?

They are composited in document order into a single flat JPG. Grouping, ids and layer names are structural metadata with no raster equivalent, so they are not preserved. Export separate SVG files if you need the pieces to stay separate.
Is my SVG artwork private during conversion?

Yes. Uploaded SVG files are processed on our own conversion servers, no person reviews them, and they are never shared. The upload and the converted JPG are both deleted automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result. See /privacy/ for the full policy.
