It depends entirely on the target. PNG, WebP, TIFF and ICO keep the alpha channel, so an unfilled SVG background stays transparent in the WebP. JPG, JPEG and JFIF have no alpha at all and composite onto white instead.
Several files in one job need a paid plan. Free use is one file per conversion, one conversion an hour. On a paid plan you can add several files to one job, then download each result on its own or all of them in one ZIP.

They are composited in document order into a single flat WebP. Grouping, ids and layer names are structural metadata with no raster equivalent, so they are not preserved. Export separate SVG files if you need the pieces to stay separate.
Is my SVG artwork private during conversion?

Yes. Uploaded SVG files are processed on our own conversion servers, no person reviews them, and they are never shared. The upload and the converted WebP are both deleted automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result. See /privacy/ for the full policy.
