Pages are rendered at 150 DPI, which is crisp on screen and fine for most printing. There is no DPI setting for DOCX to BMP. For 72 or 300 DPI, convert the DOCX to PDF first, then use the PDF to BMP converter, which has a Resolution setting.

No. There is no page setting for DOCX files, so every page is rendered as its own BMP and you keep the ones you need. If you only want the first page, convert the DOCX to PDF and then use the PDF to BMP converter, whose Pages menu offers First page only.

Yes. Uploaded DOCX files are processed on our own conversion servers, no person reviews them, and they are never shared. The upload and the converted BMP are both deleted automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result. See /privacy/ for the full policy.
