Do I get one SVG image per page?

Yes — each page of the Word is rendered as its own SVG file, numbered in order. A multi-page document downloads as a zip of images so nothing is lost or reordered.
What resolution will the SVG images be?

You choose the DPI. 96 DPI gives a screen-sized preview, 150 is comfortable for on-screen reading, and 300 matches print quality. Higher DPI means sharper text and proportionally larger files, since SVG is XML geometry rather than pixels, so it scales to any size without blurring but has no pixel grid to sample from.
Why would I turn a document into images?

To make it viewable anywhere and hard to edit — thumbnails, previews, forum posts, slide decks, or sending a page to someone who has no compatible software. The trade-off is that the text stops being text.
Will the text still be selectable?

No. Rendering to SVG converts the words into pixels, so the result cannot be selected, searched or copied. If you need the document to stay searchable, convert to PDF instead of to an image format.
Will fonts render correctly?

Fonts embedded in the Word render exactly. Fonts merely referenced by name are substituted with the closest available match, which can shift line breaks and occasionally the page count. Embedding fonts before conversion is the way to guarantee fidelity.
Are page margins, headers and footers included?

Yes — the render is the full page as it would print, including margins, running heads, footers and page numbers. Crop afterwards if you only want the content area.
Does the layout look exactly like the original?

Very close. Because Word documents keep text, styles and images as editable objects rather than as a fixed page image, layout depends on the renderer resolving fonts and styles the same way; the visual result matches a normal print preview. Complex floating objects are the usual place small differences appear.
Should I choose a lossy or lossless target?

For pages of text, a lossless target (PNG, TIFF) is much better — lossy compression puts visible halos around sharp black-on-white glyphs at exactly the sizes people read at. Use a lossy target only for image-heavy pages where file size matters more.
Can I convert only certain pages?

Yes — specify a page range and only those pages are rendered. Useful for pulling a single chart or signature page out of a long report without generating the whole set.
Can I batch several Word files?

Yes — upload them together and each is rendered independently into its own set of numbered SVG images, returned in one archive.
Does transparency apply here?

Pages render with a solid white background, matching how the document would print. Targets with an alpha channel keep it available, but a rendered page has no transparent regions to preserve.
Is my Word private during conversion?
